The Dems just keep on giving! Facing certain impeachment in Illinois, helmet hairded Blagojevich appeared on TV saying that he had been giving serious consideration to appointing Oprah Winfrey as the Senator representing Illinois.

Well, her ratings have been declining for a few years even though she has Dr. Phil’s show roping vieweres onto her channel. Maybe a Senate seat would help with her weight struggles.

After all the US Senate claims to be the weightier portion of our bicameral legislature.

Fake Bargains

I cannot resist this post.

Our grocery store had cans of soup stacked up in the front of the store with a sign saying $1.95.

When they didn’t sell, the manager took down the price sign and replaced it with a sign saying “Limit 8 per customer” and the table sold out in an hour. Buyers didn’t learn the price until they went through checkout. Everybody paid full price and were happy.

Same thing when items were on the front table stcked up at $2.50, with few sales.

They changed the price to “Two for $5.00” and sold out the stack in one day.

Moral: know the price of what you are buying!

Also, try shopping without your kids or husband because they always load you up with high priced junk food that you should not be buying.

Best Solution to the Bailout Crisis

Wall Street executives are so much smarter than Senators and Congressmen that they are performing an excellent campaign to stampede all of our elected morons, including both Obama and McCain, into accepting some form of the $700 billion gift to encourage corruption as part of the American way of life.

The current Congressional debate over how to amend or modify the gift is irrelevant.

The bailout cannot proceed in any form. Existing laws and the Fed’s ability to seize failed banks is all we need.

FREE DAYCARE FOR EVERY WORKING MOTHER ZOWIE!!

Yep gals, you heard right.

The guy we liked for his free healthcare, Frank Lynch,  just hit it out of the ballpark!!
